In the latest Indonesia Insurance Industry Report released by Emerging Markets Direct, it says that Indonesia insurance industry is a very attractive and largely untapped market. As of 2008, the country was home to more than 210mn people while the number of insured people was 16.48mn, which implied that only less than 10% had life insurance.
