First of all we have to know what weeds are and the reasons why they are a serious threat to Australia’s natural environment. Weeds are generally identified as invasive plants. They can be an unusual or natural species that inhabits unwanted areas and continues to grow and spread to other areas from there. They can colonize all ecosystems; starting from our home towns, to our cities, to our oceans, snowy regions and deserts. Weeds naturally produce a huge amount of seeds, supporting their reproduction and often producing troubled or distressed environs. They are generally the first kind of species to inhabit a particular environment.
